Release from the 6666 Ranch – Guthrie, Texas: For the first time the Four Sixes Ranch did not offer horses for sale at the Road to the Horse event, instead opting for the participating horses to be returned to the Four Sixes Ranch Remuda in Guthrie, Texas, with the exception of a few that entered into full-time training immediately following the event.
Each Spring the Four Sixes Ranch cowboys make selections from the ranch’s remuda to build their herd, replacing the horses they offered to the public during our annual Return to the Remuda Sale. The cowboys were able to make their selections the third week of April and many of the horses that were at Road to the Horse 2019 entered the cowboy’s programs to further their education and may be available sometime in the future at our annual sale.
